Count down the 25 days in December leading up to Christmas with a festive poem each day. A Christmas Full of Poetry is a sparkling illustrated collection of 25 festive poems that bring the wonder of the season to life. Step into the magic of Christmas with a joyful poetry collection made to be shared together, from former Waterstones Children’s Laureate, Joseph Coelho.

Written to be performed as well as read, this enchanting collection invites children and families to explore the magic of words in many voices – poems to be read loudly with joy, softly with tenderness or whispered with wonder.

Young readers can turn their Christmas list to Santa Claus into a playful poem, discover verses perfect for school performances, family gatherings, or Christmas Day celebrations, and delight in haikus capturing the hush of falling snow alongside cheeky re‑imaginings of beloved carols.

More than just a poetry book, this is a new family tradition in the making: a book to bring out every December, with a poem for each day leading up to Christmas. It’s a confidence‑building companion that helps children develop their skills in reading aloud, performance and self‑expression, while creating treasured memories year after year.

A Christmas Full of Poetry is the perfect gift to inspire young voices, nurture creativity and bring families together through the joy of words.
