Kensington Market is a walkable bohemian neighbourhood that draws artists and tourists to its indie shops, vintage boutiques and arts spaces. Residents and visitors enjoy strolling among the colourful Victorian houses, featured in this design, along charming tree-lined streets on their way to the Market's specialty grocers, bakeries and cheese shops.

Kensington Market sits on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee, the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation and the Huron-Wendat. In the early 1800's the area was used as a parade ground for a volunteer cavalry troop, which later saw action in the Upper Canada Rebellion.

Today, packed with trendy bars, cafes, poetry reading, and international cuisine, Kensington has become Hipster Heaven!
