The Ahab Flex Fountain Pen features a number of details isnpired by the classic novel, Moby Dick.

The ventless flex nib has its own socket within the section and along with the feed, it is friction fit - as a harpoon upon its staff with a line of breather tube for its tail.
The nib is of the finest stainless flex steel, tipped with platinum group metals and set upon an automatic feed design of handmade ebonite.
The pen is a dual filler: either by the inner bailing filler or by removing the bailing filler and filling the full pen body itself with an eye dropper.
Clean the pen thoroughly prior to it's first use.
Made of eco-friendly celluloid-derived vegetal resin. It has a distinctive smell that generally fades in time. Leaving the pen in direct sunlight can make the smell dissipate faster.
