  • Liquitex Slow-Dry Gel extends the open time of your color/medium by 40% so it is blendable and workable for longer, increases transparency, gives softer edges and great color blends, extends your color further without affecting acrylic stability, increases viscosity of soft body paints, giving a thicker consistency, increases surface gloss, color depth and transparency, and maintains paint adhesion, durability and archival quality.
  • Ideal for dry and hot climates!
  • Can be thinned by diluting with up to 25% water - distilled water will give best results
  • Mix as much as you like into acrylic color/medium to create the viscosity and transparency you want - the more you add, the more transparent your color will become
  • If you're working over a long period of time, mix into color on the palette to keep it fresh and skin-free for longer
  • This is semi-opaque when wet, transparent when dry
  • Do not vigorously over-brush as this can result in a foggy, hazy look when dry, and do not use with any non-acrylic compatible media
