The Danforth, is renowned for its international mix of restaurants, cafes and bars, Greek tavernas and pastry shops, and vibrant mix of specialty boutiques including the best art supply store in all the land! The Danforth was once the largest Greek neighbourhood in North America, and many street signs are written in both Greek and English.

Danforth Avenue was constructed in 1851. The Bloor Viaduct bridge, connecting the Danforth to the rest of the city, was completed in 1919.
