Tom Norton's Walnut Drawing Ink Darkening Medium is an additive that darkens your original walnut drawing ink when your work needs that extra punch. Some artists will add black india ink to darken the colour of walnut ink - overpowering the tonality of the beautiful brown ink and sacrificing the unique watercolour characteristics of the ink. This Darkening Medium maintains all the porperties of walnut ink. It is very heavily pigmented and can also be used straight from the bottle, behaving more like a Sumi ink, staining the paper with less lifting capabilities.
