Derwent Watercolour Pencil 12 Set

In stock

Use these watercolour pencils dry because they are so soft and blendable, and then add a bit of water if you want to turn your picture into a watercolour.  They are not as intense like Inktense pencils, for a more tradional subtle watercolour effect and like a regular watercolour they are reworkable once dry.

  • Hexagonal pencil with colour indicator at the end
  • 3.4mm core of colour
  • Wet the paper first or after or even just wet the pencil for different techniques
  • Pre-sharpened so you're ready to create
  • Comes in an attractive metal tin

The History of Derwent goes back to 1916 in Keswick, England, when it was known as The Cumberland Pencil Company.  But the tradition of pencil making in the area goes back to 1832.  With a new factory opened in Lillyhall, England in 2008, Derwent looks to continue this heritage far into future and continue making most of their products in the UK.  They have a long history of safety and innovation, each product is subject to rigorous testing, for strength and lightfastness.  All Derwent products are non-toxic and some are even vegan.
